WEDDING CATHOLIC CEREMONY PROCESSIONAL ORDER, POSITIONS AT THE ALTAR AND CEREMONY ORDER

If you are getting married at the church, here is some information you need to know during your planning process.


The Processional for a Catholic Ceremony goes in these order to enter the church and celebrate the mass.


PROCESSIONAL ORDER

  • Altar Boys/Girls

  • Readers

  • Priest or Minister

  • Groom with his Mother

  • Father of the Groom and Mother of the Bride

  • Godmother and Godfather (sponsors) of Candles and Veil

  • Godmother and Godfather (sponsors) of the Cord

  • Godmother and Godfather (sponsors) of the Coins and Rings

  • Godmother and Godfather (sponsors) of the Bible and the Rosary

  • Godmother of the Virgin Flowers

  • Bridesmaid/Groomsman

  • Bridesmaid/Groomsman (repeat depending on how many couples you have)

  • Maid of Honor

  • Flower Girl and Ring Bearer

  • Bride and her Father


POSITIONS AT THE ALTAR

Bridesmaids - Groomsmen/Ushers
